Hello, I'm Maria
I'm the creator behind MeckMom.com and the online Come Follow Me course/podcast called "Our Mothers Knew It" (formerly Creative Come Follow Me).
This year we are combining the fun-mom resources from MeckMom.com with the gospel learning resources in my online course. We've set up a new site to make all those resources searchable, mobile-friendly, and community-centric. I hope you'll join us.

Second, "Creative Come Follow Me" is being renamed as "Our Mother's Knew It". You can find out more about the change here. The content will build on the doctrinal insights and creative teaching tips you've come to expect. However, I'll be including a shorter video calling out key points, and identifying thought provoking questions to help stimulate conversation in your family and classes. I’ve paid for lesson helps before that were mainly just coloring pages and a few bullet points/ideas. Maria goes so much beyond that. She makes such meaningful connections between the scriptures and real life then teaches you how to illustrate that in your lesson. Scripture Study My Kids Actually Love!

My family struggled with keeping the kids engaged in Come Follow Me until I enrolled in This Creative Come Follow Me course. These lessons are always so engaging that my kids actually want to listen and participate! It has been a game changer. I feel like I learn a lot too as I prepare to teach them using these lessons and materials. I also really like that I can use these for my youngest, age 6, all the way up to my oldest, age 15. I originally signed up for this course looking for help with a large Sunday School class of 12 year olds, several of whom have special needs. This course was a life saver for that class! It got them using their bodies and thinking about the scriptures in a dynamic way! The unexpected blessing came when churches and schools closed. I now had time every day to do better scripture study with my own boys. I have been able to use Maria's ideas to engage my boys in the scriptures and show them that gospel study doesn't have to be dull or boring! The best compliment I can give came from my 15 year old son, "When are we going to do your fun home church today?" Take this course! You won't regret it!

I love the different types of object lessons. I find the lesson overview printouts super helpful. Thank you for putting the links to the references. I enjoy reading those and it helps me understand how I can improve my own Scripture study. I was amazed at how many of those talks/videos I had read previously and didn't take it a step further. So hopefully now I can be thinking more along your creative and connecting wavelengths to make connects in other scriptures like you have. I have really enjoyed your Scripture insights which I wasn't expecting to spend as much time on as I do since I already follow Don't Miss This. But I should have realized that there is many lessons to learn from the same verses.

Saved our family scripture study ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our family scripture reading had become a chore. No one was enjoying it the way I envisioned - then I found this course. Wow, a complete 180 degree turn.
